I'm curious to know if this might get one, considering it has a sort of multiplayer in it. Hardly direct multiplayer really, but maybe enough to **** off a legit player. To be honest, my decision on getting the PC port kind of hinges on whether or not this might happen.

I was wondering the same thing since it's kind of always online. I know they had trainers for hacked 360s and ps3s and it didn't seem to cause a big stir. It'll be interesting to see the moral determination by the admin/programmers here.

The thing about this game was that it was not Online Only like D2 or Starcraft. You COULD play it offline, if you really didn't like getting invaded and having your ass handed to you. You just needed to go online to get updates now and then.
It's also how so many people cheated the console version. Pre-patch, you could get infinite souls. So just unplug your console, get to Infinite Souls, then level to max, plug back in, and have (relatively more) fun.
edit: The downside to this is that you would have to probably disconnect the entire computer to play offline. Which is irritating. But which is more irritating: No internet, or losing 68 Humanity and 1.2 billion souls? (the answer is losing humanity and souls.)

I'm wondering the same too. I played part 1 on ps3, and it was amazing.....Though i didn't find the game too hard (im being honest, games are not hard for me, like i don't know how people can use cheats to make games easier, if u run into trouble just think and u will figure it out..i use cheats mainly to gain powers, abilities and cool features more often, for example, in skyrim I have every power and ability, but i made it that i can be killed in one hit...so im overpowered and underpowered at the same time while enjoying all abilities)... I just use cheats the "Enhance gameplay", since I hate slowly ganing abilities and powers... I pretty much stopped playing part 1 because I there weren't enough powers I was gaining fast enough lol
If a trainer came out for this game it would be epic

I could see a trainer happening, considering this isn't a online only kind of game. It's not like Diablo 3 where your data is on a server and you have to connect to it to even play your single-player campaign. They made a trainer for that game too, even if it isn't quite a game-breaking kind of trainer. Also, there was an option in game to play offline with the console version, so I'm pretty sure it's the same with the PC.
