It is good to see that a game developer is listening to the issues being brought up by the public even if it is just a minor patch but I don't know why they couldn't have just waited for another major update release to add these fixes.
Sleeping Dogs 1.4 Update
Bug Fixes • Several bugs with the Display Options screen resetting options when backing out of the Advanced Options Menu. • Tuned the difficulty of the Lock Pick Mini-game for Mouse and Keyboard.
but i'm still grateful toward the game dev's and CH team
Aye, another patch. Sorry you guys have to keep rehashing trainers for new releases like this, but I want you to know that it's greatly appreciated, even if we don't say it enough.
My thanks to you all in advance for keeping up to this and other games; you fellows are the enablers of my weekend entertainment, and have been for a long time now.

Judging by the previous posts this is more of a hotfix, it's nice that they are fixing problems quickly though I wonder about that increased security which was also mentioned. (Probably in response to the social leadboards and such, trying to prevent people abusing cheats to top rank to some such even if it's by accident or unintended, can't find a way to turn that off either.)
Game began as 1.0 but on release date before it was actually unlocked it was updated to 1.1 which is what the trainer was made against, then the 1.3 patch and a small hotfix shortly afterwards got released which is what the second (current) trainer works with and now there's a 1.4 update just a short while later.
It's weekend now however so it shouldn't update until next week but who knows just how active the developer / publisher will be in getting the game updated, no doubt we will see a lot of patches but that's just a guess, partially based on how aggressive they are going to be with DLC releases.
