for some reason I can not spot more than one guy, when I try to spot one more the first guy gets shot and sets of the alarms

does no one know the answer to this one

Because you do it wrong. repeat the tutorial. Don't hold the spot button down just hit it and wait for the reticle to fill, then go to next target and repeat. You can mark 3 targets for your buddies and the fourth for yourself. If you hold down the mark button the shoot all at the same time (if they have line of site).
