Darksiders II Message Board  

Hey folks. I am kinda "forced" to buy Darksiders II from Gamestop due to a swath of gift cards I got from there. Unfortunately, Gamestop only carries the game via digital download (which I pickup the code in the store) and NOT a hard copy. So I am forced to use their digital download service.

My question is - will any of the cheat trainers that will be released for this game, work for the digital download version from Gamestop? Many thanks!

From what i understand number 2 will be same as 1 in the fact it will use steam

i might be wrong and other companies might have alternatives but as i said from what i understand itll be simalar to original in needed a steam account to run etc so the key would proberly eventuly give you a steam access key or be one itself i know i have brought several digital games from d2d places and they were dealt with like this

its something you might want to check on the THQ boards as their the people releasing it

Afterall its not like this is EA steam conflicts like with kingdom of amalur

so if my comments are correct there wont be a need for a trainer for the diffrent digital places as there will be one main EXE for steam

just did some digging for you on the THQ forums here are the specs it states for PC release

Min Specs:

• OS – Windows XP, Windows Vista SP1 or Windows 7
• Processor – 2.0Ghz Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor or AMD equivalent
• RAM –2GB
• Hard Drive – 20 GB space free (10 GB free after install)
• Video Card – NVIDIA 9800 GT 512 MB Video Card or AMD equivalent
• Online Steam account


Recommended Specs:

• OS – Windows 7
• Processor – Any Quad-core AMD or Intel Processor
• RAM –2GB
• Hard Drive – 20 GB space free (10 GB free after install)
• Video Card – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 512MB Video Card or AMD equivalent
• Online Steam account

this should mean that all PC copies should filter through to steam keys etc
