For the Firefight, none, just additional weapons. The Leviathan is supposed to delve more into the back story of the Reapers, such as their origins.
First up, the Firefight Pack will be released tomorrow, August 7th, adds several new weapons to the single player game, some of which were only available in multiplayer.

Next the Leviathan DLC, traces of which were found in Extended Cut DLC, was officially announced, no release date as of yet, other than Summer 2012.

There is supposed to be a second one, eh? Well I wouldn't hold your breathe, since some of those weapons are currently SP exclusive. Still it will be nice if they do that, either way, more weapons to play with.
Not so much "supposed to be" as will be, at this rate. There's 9 new weapons with the MP DLC packs total, and out of the seven Firefight adds, two are new and one is from the Alienware promo. And Leviathan's unlockable weapons are going to be the Origin PC bonus shotgun, and the preorder assault rifle. So yay. More money to burn at a future date, thanks to BioWarEA.

I guess a net gain of two guns for two dollars with the pack isn't terrible, but still.
