I loved the original, and glad it has been dusted off and made anew. But. Some reason it just doesn't hold that same, feel, as it once did. I love the new one don't get me wrong, its fun in its own way, nice upgrades, okay amount of cars to choose from. Upgrades could have been done a little better but overall its still good imo. Only real thing I have against it is its way of just throwing random races at you from the start. I miss having to win a few to unlock a few like the original and the overall gritty feel to everything (menus, npc's, levels, etc.) Whats everyone else's opinion on this re-imaged classic?

they pretty much ruined the classic game, and i agree u had more control over races and upgrades in the old one but the main reason the old one is epic is because of the atmosphere it created. i still cant belive that after all those years they did the same thing that 3d realms did to duke nukem they absolutly destroyed a classic
