My dad lives in a suburb called Ashcroft in Sydney, he gave me a call about 2 hours before i heard about this accident on the radio..

He told me that a close friend of his had just been in a fatal accident in Liverpool and it happened on a very busy corner of 2 highways, which is 5 minutes from where he lives.
He was a great man, and a young father who is and will always be very dearly missed.

Neither the police or CIU have yet to find evidence of why the truck container rolled over and there is no cause stated in any published statement, but a witness to the accident aired on the radio the next day claiming to have seen the truck driver taking the corner at a speed much higher than what would be considered safe in an attempt to make the corner before the red light.

    Sorry for your loss brother.
That is the smartest thing I have ever heard anyone say about anything.

I didn't realise they had a Liverpool in Australia.

It's easy for people to say about how people are going too fast, in most cases thats not true, but there is still a chance.

Dangerous driving = danger to your health.

But younger drivers are the ones who throw that out the window more as they think it will never happen to them, seems to be the sentence most young people use to brush off someones caution - "It will never happen to me". Anyways, strange that maybe with a few years behind him he may have actually picked up maturity in terms of driving. Sad loss, but if people don't take care it is inevitable, especially with heavy load vehicles.

He was sitting at a red light waiting for it to change when the truck driver turned and rolled onto him.. He was in no fault in any way.
Also seen a comment from a man who's house is within view of that corner who said he regularly sees truck drivers take it too fast to make the light.
    Truck driver was 46.

Ahhh should have worded it better, but understandable if you knew the guy, cause it was like you were saying he was driving the truck.
