So it comes out the 20th of July and I seriously can't wait to see the damn movie. I keep watching Trailer #3, and it relieves me seeing familar cast from Inception as well as the previous Dark Knight movie.

To the point, I have thoughts about how the story is going to play. With 2 hours and 35 minutes, I can imagine a lot is going to play out. I am curious, though, of what others might think about it. Perhaps if there is enough in it to keep the movie alive and persistent?

The movie comes out on my birthday. Therefore, it is to be assumed that it will be an unprecedented film!

In all seriousness, the last two Batman films were great, and with the characters and storyline that have been chosen I believe this will be an epic conclusion to the trilogy. Bale has shown his merit as the Dark Knight twice already; Gary Oldman is a cult film icon; Gordon-Levitt may not have won accolades for performances, but is widely known to discriminate heavily in which films/scripts he will be a part of; and of course Tom Hardy. Hardy has already shown through the previews that he will be the awe inspiration of the film. His versatile acting has landed him various roles in which he nailed all of them. I have no doubts that Hardy will envelop us all in Bane to a degree we cannot even fathom from the previews.

Bruce Wayne: Why didn't you just kill me?
Bane: Your punishment must be more severe.

Awww yeah, it is going to be phenomenal.
That is the smartest thing I have ever heard anyone say about anything.

Batman movies are best when they are semi-believable and more colourful.

The 90's Batman movies were ok in this sense, especially the first with Jack Nicholson as the Joker, his colourful and strange ways made it enjoyable to watch and felt like Batman even if it was dark.

But as they continued it got darker and darker to the point it just wasn't Batman.

And this latest installment will be the same.

I agree 100% man! I truly do have faith in the leading cast. Christopher Nolan has never seist to fail as a director.

Though that wasn't Bruce Wayne it was the mayor. Double-check that one.

Amen! Sometimes I feel like the only person who's not that keen on the movies.

So far I am not impressed.

For starters the casting just sucks. Christian Bale is boring as hell and that dumb voice he puts on makes me want to give him a glass of water and a laxative.

The only characters I have liked are Harvey Dent/Two Face who was great and also Scarecrow though he didn't get enough of a part IMO. I give props to The Joker who was occasionally funny.

The plot lines are pretty predictable/nothing new here.

What makes me want to see this new Batman? One word: Bane.

He looks good, but might just be good in the previews and fail to deliver.

Anne Hathaway almost puts me off the whole thing though, what were they thinking?

So I might go see it if someone I know suggests it but otherwise there's plenty of other movies I'd rather see, like The Avengers for the fourth time.
