I've recently purchased Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic I and II. The first one doesn't work on the Xbox 360 due to that backwards compatibility bull**** and Microsoft doesn't want to spend the time and money to make all games work on the 360 apparently because they are busy with newer and better things. So anyway, I've never used, and for that matter, downloaded a trainer from this site and I predict that I will, download and use my first two trainers ever!
The xbox website has a download for the 360 compatibility. You download the file and burn it to a dvd then run it on your system. It allows you to play most original xbox games
Regardless, I stand corrected as KOTOR now works on the 360. However this topic is still relevant as although I cancelled the order of the first game, I will still play the second on my computer with the trainer.
if you're getting it for pc be prepared to do a bit of work trying to get it to run (im assuming you have windows 7), the game was made for xp and more often than not, running it in xp compatibility mode isnt enough to get the game running smoothly...But, once you get it right its a very fun game, especially with all the great mods out there.
on my game i've got about 4 or 5 mods that make it even more enjoyable to play. my favorite mod has to be the 'wield duel double bladed saber mod'...pretty kick-ass
oh yea, in regards to using a trainer on this game, it would be easier IMO to use the Kotor Savegame Editor program instead. its easy to use and gives you much more power over your game than a trainer could hope to give. you can edit anything from level and exp to force powers, feats, and inventory(from a master inventory list of every item available in the game), and not just for you, but for your entire party of NPC's
Am I the only one still in awe that Darkish has been a mod, posted as many posts, but has never used a trainer? That being said, my STEAM version works just fine in Win 7, so if you are running that version you should be fine. In fact, I wish that STEAM or GOG would release SWKOTOR 2! Good luck with your trainer runs just the same. I know that they made my SWKOTOR runs phenomenal.
