tada... what I told you guys right from the start. It's bound to an account (and a key) and coded. Replacing results in error and putting the whole profile in does nothing because profile information is also in the registry. I'd recommend putting those files offline again since they could contain your account information.

ya i cant get this one too work its wierd i got the first one that was posted to work no problem just threw the mp3progression file into my profile folder overwriting the one i had and it works fine but when i try the same with the new one it says its invalid or whatever... maybe the first one that was uploaded came from a non-legit game? hence the account not being binded the same way perhaps? just a thought..
nope, dont work, if i overwrite my save, the game says the save is corrupted, and it just restarts the game with no progress. If i just plonk the folder in profiles, it just ingores it and starts a new game anyway. The achievements file which stores your grinds is in a seperate folder anyway, and you didnt include that, maybe if you upload that too, i can try overwriting my achievements, that might atleast give me all the golden weapons. BTW mine is the retail version, if yours is steam, mayeb the save structure is different.
I just wish i didnt have to keep playing in window mode so i can alt tab safely to see where the next collectable is. Ive tried memorizing where they are, but i end up missing some. If i play fullscreen the game slows down and eventually crashes when minimizing. Its really sucking the fun out of the game. Im thinking of just rushing through the game so i can unlock the other difficulties, then go back and pickup all the bits and bobs
crud, using that save seems to have broken my game, after restoring my original profile, the game is running at like 5 fps for some reason. gonna try reinstalling, shame it takes over an hour to install this thing with the discs
