most new users don't bother to get involved in the community. the vast majority of new users buy an UNL account for access to whatever trainers they need and the message boards do not interest them unless they're posting things like 'game updated, trainer is borked!, wen will new trainer be posted' or 'trainer crashes game!! halp!!' etc.
lets face it, internet forums are a thing of the past, if someone has a question they google it, if someone just wants random discussion they use popular social networking sites where instead of using an alias and an avatar, people use their real names and pictures of themselves, allowing their 'friends' to be more actively involved and gives a more real feeling from this interaction that forums don't really offer.
Sucks dont it?
Does anyone else recall this site having more life this time of year?
In years past I remember there was loads of newbs the day school ended, joining and getting banned with in a matter of a few days.
The kids went to 4chan to try and act as old***s.
I havent been around as long as some of you but from what i can see by looking at the old topics and posts its more the fact that most long time members have reached puberty and there lives dont revolve around pokemon and halo as to why the boards are now dead to you, its just a change in taste of posters and the fact alot of trainers are now unlimited only stops broke kids from downloading and discussing them, just my two cents

This is true my video game life has declined to almost nothing. But I was never here for cheats. This is why this trend saddens me. I miss the epic boards of general discussion.

I miss the epic board that some how still exists just in a different state. Oh wait im here. Hi epic board that exists yet not in the same state of being that it did but still is just as epic. How ya doin?
