I had the same thing, starting MP3 and it just crashes, I verified the integrety of game cache, next what happens is I can't get past prologue because it does not what it should do.

Verified again, and this time everything works.


I personally had to verify the integrety twice for my Max Pain 3 to work like it should.


using the steam version ofcourse.

did this, also updated driver for card, not sure which did it, but now its working, no crashes whatsoever

the game itself is huge, it's about 25 gb if not more.

I'm assuming the chance for corupted files is bigger when you're downloading a game the size of the moon.

Bought from amazon, activated on steam, downloaded from steam, played on steam. No crashes and no problem thus far.
