hello

i got the civ 5 trainer but it now says i need to have internet (i do have working ) thus failing to authenticate trainer :s and then closes the trainer.

it is the ver 1.01.511 for Civ 5 ...

any ideas??

seems all trainer now have this

disable/uninstall all AV, firewall and other security software. right click run as admin on trainer. plug pc directly into internet bypassing network routers/firewalls until you find the problem.

i disabled AV
turned off firewall in router
connected to most direct route possible
and still no joy

i can see it tries to connect to 70.182.176.240 in my router but the trainer says i got no internet but it does reach my router :S

things that changed is that i switched provider and i got a new router from Cisco no clue if it can be that ....

maybe it blocks a certian port you need :S

have you tried reset your router?

Yupp doesn't work/fix it :S

well maybe fresh install next week will help :S
