Just went through the forum for Diablo 3 Seems even the Single Player campaign is at server-end. So is there any news about how it will be in Heart of the swarm? If its the same will have to watch the ending on youtube than buy the game.
i doubt that they'll make it server-side only. there no point in doing the same thing as Diablo 3, since Diablo 3 has the Auction House, which is probably why it server-side.
Also, SC2: HotS may also be disc based with patches onlines.

I really hope Heart of Swarm lets us play offline as a guest, like Wings of Liberty does. I can't stand 'always online' games. Hate being at the mercy of my internet connection.

Hate being at the mercy of your net connection, yet, you use it everyday and you use your conn in a lot of ways.
Just wish people would stop crying over the least intrusive protection scheme.
Anyways.
Been in the closed beta for it so far, but its only MP so no idea about the SP stuff yet. But I am sure they will allow offline play again.

Wish I could have gotten in on that Beta Test! How are the new units? Do they retain a pretty fair balance between the races? Anything innovative to look forward too?

There are Youtube videos of the new units in action, check Totalbiscuit, Husky, or HDstarcraft to name a few. Yes they are quite different from each other.
and yeah, i think for single player, they're probably gonna make it offline. they have to. no point in having it online unless they decided to make it co-op like a certain game a while back.
