Oh the perils of online DRM. I hope they learned this lesson. Ubisoft did.

Now they have servers are full and you entered a queue. This is crap especially since I wanted to play solo. You have to queue to even play solo

Trouble is that as long as we keep playing Diablo and Starcraft it won;t change a thing since the moment we get our Game Key they've got just about all the money they can get out of the games (not counting expansions) so why would they change a thing.

Well, can't say that was unexpected.

Diablo II was technically good for his time and conceptually good for the times to come. A new episode, like diablo III, had very few chances to be better.

They couldn't keep everything as it was (and, as i said, it was good) since they were supposed to do a new game, not a remake with a better graphic and different playthrough. So, what they did changed (skill management, for instance) went a bit odd. The other modifications (About the online) are simply based on a completly different set of priorities then Diablo II, like "Make it Social" "Make it playable by everyone" "make sure they will have to buy it". No surprise if the result, and the appreciation grade, is different.

Let's see if after a few technical upgrades and patches the thing gets better. Anyway, i think they already realize that only few people would buy a Diablo IV, after this.

And thats why I refuse to buy the game. As long you can't login you can't use Diablo 3 at all. So many people said when I had trouble with the login in the open beta: calm down, Blizzard is a big company and are experienced since World of Warcraft. They made the open beta to test the capacity.
And now? Now I can laugh at all these people who can't play because of that login issue. I feel sorry for all players. I should laugh at Blizzard instead. Good luck everyone!

Laugh at a high volume of traffic at the start? Not every company can predict such high numbers day 1 and how many servers will be needed to cope.

I laugh at peoples ignorance of the system used and hardware needed and then try to act like they are clever to have not got the game because of it.

Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

Have been playing for 2 days so far and no problems for me. Yes i had to wait half an hour on launch to get in but thats understandable. After that all has been smooth. No bugs, no disconnections and no trouble getting into the game.
