Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Message Board  

Ok I know CAPCOM isn't known for their Earth-shattering dramatic epics, but I cant help but wonder about certain things in this game's story. I guess the simplest answer is that the game is one of those "what-if" stories. My problem is that for over half the game the story seems like its trying its hardest to to be legitimately canon. Then all of a sudden you're hunting down Leon and (depending on your choice), killing him. Consistency would be nice. But then again its not as bad as the whole Bionic Commando wife-arm thing. Also this might be a stupid thing to point out but, when fighting Leon, it took about fifteen shots from the most powerful sniper rifle to kill him. I may be wrong but didn't Leon die in like three hits in Resident Evil 2?

I agree, also besides the fact that the story sucks the gunplay is terrible. I wish this game was never made

After about an hour of play.....I take it back......it's terrible

The game's non-canon in every way, thankfully. It's essentially just a gaiden game, so RE6 will ignore it.
