Well, I'm gonna hop onto the wagon, and ask a few questions.

I have downloaded the trained, and most functions work well.
The ones that seem to be buggy are the ship cannons and sailors, but one that really doesn't work is the ship health.

While in battle, I press the key, and my ship gains a health of 500. However, when my enemy hits me for the smallest amount of damage, the ship health goes back to the original value.

If I activate this option before going into battle, my ship health appears to go to 5000, but then goes back to normal, leaving my ship with 1% of health, as I've noticed.

That drastically reduces my convoy battle prowess, so there's another bug.

I do not believe that this is because I bought my game from Steam, in Australia, since the trainer works to a standard, but seems that the best function of the trainer doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Just wanted to let people know that the current version of Port Royale is 1.1.2.24694 from Steam and will not work with the 1.1.2.24556 mega trainer. It will just crash your game. So please give them time to work on a new trainer and do not bicker like little kids.

I feel a little bad, since I only tend to post when I need support, but Cheathappens is pretty stellar.

That said, it's gotta be crazy annoying for a smaller game like Port Royale 3 to continuously update their game, giving rise to a necessity of updated trainers. I've got to turn off the silly auto-update feature on steam.

But yeah, new version of the game out.

I hope the new trainer will fix the cannon/ship health bug. Right now all Im seeing the trainer do is change what number of cannons and crew is showing, but as soon as combat starts they revert back to what was on the ship or even worse with the health, it will set it to 1 percent.

But that being said, thanks for all the great trainers. I have definitely gotten my moneys worth from my unlimited membership.

Yup, it must be like drinking from a fire hose. I think the effort they put in is heroic.

This is yet another argument to be made for cloud sourcing.

At some point it's not about managing the products but about managing the tools that manage the products (and people).

It's a natural evolution. It's the next paradigm of change.

I wonder what a new pay level would look like if there were a contributory/shared component of the trainer tool that helped speed up or distribute process.

Just remember even though you turned off the auto-update on steam, it will still update your game next time you play it.

I got this from steam tech support when I kept getting Skyrim updates I didn't want.

if the trainer does that, then there's not much i can do about it. the trainer is designed to affect the single ship you have highlighted. i would use the option on SINGLE SHIPS while IN PORT if you find that you are getting the option to affect other ships (like pirates). i haven't gotten a lot of complaints about this, so if this is a huge problem for many people and they don't find those options useful then i might just remove them. there's no need to keep updating the trainer options if people don't like them or find them useful.

It's not that the option is not useful, since it sets the ship HP to 5000. After the next day passes however, it gets bugged, so if this option would actually work, it would be awesome.

You should play around with it and see for yourself. If it did what it said it would do, all hail CHU!

Please work on it, if you can.
