mate it only give me this, after Tabkey: give lt_Am_Ancestor
you have to use tabkey to complete the starting letters of Lock
so give It_Lock(press tabkey after you typed the k)
another options is spawn
try spawn It_Lockpick (it should drop one on the floor)

Sorry. but again it do not work.. and yes, I do Type & spell correct. so i tryed: spawn It_Lockpick Command can not be executed. No valid script function avaiable.
give It_Lockpick 30 - gives 30 lockpicks
give It_Lockpick 30 - gives me nothing. I just think that my files are corrupt. its just that there is so many bugs in this game. that starting again, for the 4th time, is way too much for me.
Probably you have keyboard language set to something other than English, change it(Alt+Shift, Ctrl+shift, etc.) and then try. The console can be activated even in main menu.

I think i just give up, and delete the game.Sadly it is on steam

i have my version also from steam and using US keyboard setting
also in steam properties of the game i use english language
risen2.exe details 1.0.1168.0 change 188844
keyboard which i use is qwerty
and no problems whatsoever with that console cheat

readme is included in docs folder but it is in german language ^^
you run it or before the risen2 game or when in risen2 game
then simple press F3 key to use console
then press the key beneath the esc key or tilde key ~
maybe that will open the console for you
give it a try ^^
