Wow it's been a while. Anyways,

So what is you guys opinion on EQ for your music? I know most people generally say Flat is best because that's "the way it was done in the studio". I find that's fine for my laptop, but when it comes to my iPod and headphones it seems like flat makes the music sound pretty crap.

Idk if it's just my iPod, the music itself, or what. Because flat sounds fine coming out of my laptop (even with headphones).

I currently just use Rock for most of my stuff (Nu-Metal, Rock, Thrash Metal, etc.)

What is you guys opinions on EQing your music?

    Bass Boost on everything.

I have dubstep, thrash metal, death metal, tech death, electronica, jazz, and nearly everything else besides pop and country, and EVERYTHING sounds better with Bass Boost.

Get yourself some deep bass headphones. Everything will sound better.

I never tried bass boost before. I always used rock for metal.
