It makes me laugh how the definition of a "professional" looking site changes every couple of years. It used to be a site using DHTML menu's and such effects, then it was rather image-heavy graphical layouts, then flash, etc etc, now it's minimalist.
Anyway, I like the new look. I admit I miss the old header also, but I've always liked the whole "less is more" layouts and designs of sites. This one slides in at the top.

Creating even more subforums will not generate more activity. All it will generate is a bunch of empty subforums. If you have something to post, post it in one of our existing forums. If we don't see an increase in activity on the General and OTD boards, we may eliminate them in the near future.

Adding subforums can be positive on one subject, "Attracting new active members".
98% of the people join CHU just for the cheats and trainers. They don't have any intend to join the community, But if we make a bigger forum it can be a good factor on attracting new youngbloods and members who join for the boards.

It doesn't work that way. Large boards create subforums out of demand for them, not in hopes that few users will find it useful. For example if we saw an absurd amount of discussions about computers and hardware on GD, we would consider creating a subforum for discussing hardware and whatnot.

That said, I think something might be slightly broken, or it just hasn't hit the phase of overhaul yet. Minor thing, but when I go to the >Trainers link at the top, the featured trainers look like they should have some kind of header image before each, and nothing is there, and none of the game titles are clickable, they don't have a link associated with them.
Once I get down to the latest trainers section, everything works like normal.
