Can anyone confirm if changing the settings.blk file actually works for God mode? I'm thinking of getting this game, but I need to know about this first. I want to be able to have inf. health this way incase the trainer doesn't work for me (i.e. boss fights). Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Works for me on the Steam version.
Just find the settings.blk file in the steam folder, change that line and away you go.
i'm on the 4th level now and not died yet, not had any issues with the bosses...

Actually, I get the same problem, but a trainer I found elsewhere works fine. It's possible it's a problem with versions purchased directly from Steam, or the fact that the developer released a broken version of the game (which the trainer may have been made using), then released the proper version later.
I think (some) others may be using the, ahem, "fix", which is why they haven't had a problem.
There has technically been four versions of the game floating around- the broken pirated version, the fixed pirated version, the legitimate broken Steam version (which was only available to those who bought a key from external stores I believe), and the fixed Steam version.

Cool. I'm glad that God mode works. Thanks. I'll try the trainer first and then use God mode if the game crashes at any parts. Thanks.
We would be happy to fix the boss issue if someone would send the savegame like I requested days ago. Also, if someone wants to send the Steam exe we can look at that as well.

I have a problem whenever i use a trainer the game crashes and it says Exception ,(game will be close)something like that. I thought it was from the trainer but when i downloaded the one they offer here it still crashed.
