I was cautiously optimistic the trainer would produce good results and it did indeed. Boosting your skills up took care of dying or being poisoned for me. I can focus 100% on the puzzles and timed-action-sequences now! Food got scarce at one point but by level 10 no longer seems to be an issue.
Regarding t-a-s... Someone responded to a message I left on Steam complaining about t-a-s suggesting I try using a 'macro' but I know nothing about how to do that. LoG's key movements though make it rather ideal.
I wonder how difficult it would be to build a user defined movement macro into a trainer for this type of game? So far the guy that posted this suggestion has not responded.
Just wanted to say it's working fine for me. Needed a bit fiddling with but I got it running.
Final try was like this. Game in window mode. Trainer started as Admin. It ran without that but needed a second part run as admin later on. In the end the saving part didn't work.
Following the instructions in the trainer itself did the rest. It's important to be on the char skill tab while scanning. Every char needs his/her own scan run. Initial result after refresh is always 0 (if you have spent all your points I assume).
@CH-Team: I'm sorry that you get so much bashing. Getting trainers running is a very difficult job at times. Some games are predictable, some really try to scramble data in memory. Back in my Amiga days I had an Action Replay and it was sometimes takes ages to find the right adresses. Even with that neat piece of hardware. You're all doing a great job here!
I just picked this up from Steam. It says my version is 1.1.3 and the trainer is 1.1.4?? Which one of the trainers should I pick excluding the gog version of course!
Update: If the trainer, or artmoney solution doesn't work I suggest this to get skill points for your PC's. The solution was found on the grimrock forums.
Note this is for american keyboards, your key binding might be different.
- go to Documents\Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock - open grimrock.cfg (with notepad) - at the bottom (or anywhere) add the line:
consoleKey = 192
192 should make the American Keyboard ~ (tilde) key open the console
or this:
consoleKey = 115
115 should make F4 open the console
add this line to the grimrock.cfg as well:
console = true
- save the grimrock.cfg file
Now when you fire up the game, hit the console key ~ or F4
enter this:
spawn("tome_wisdom" )
note the space after wisdom, DONT INCLUDE IT for some reason these forums wanted to add a smiley face so I had to space out the "" BTW the spawn command will place a book that will give your PC 5 skill points
Can anyone get this to work? I follow the directions and always get the message about that it could not retrieve stats, go back in game for a few seconds and try again.

Am I doing something wrong?
Same here.
'Works with v1.1.4 GOG.' Ugh, I figure it won't work installed game in Steam.
