Steam auto updates if you have that option selected for this game.
So you wont actually notice the difference. You can however check the file version in the steam folder by right clicking the .exe file "X:\Steam\steamapps\common\sins of a solar empire rebellion\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion.exe" Mine now shows 1.0.3.0.
Awesome they update sadly i really like playing with this trainer
well.. like most sins games i suspect itll get 2 million mini patches over the year..

Just with in the last few mins. The trainer is now causing my game to crash to desk top as soon as i hit F1 to activate it. I have deleted the trainer and re downloaded the newest version available and the same results happen. I have checked the Sins forums to see if there was a patch or update and checked the game version. To my knowledge, it is still the same as it was earlie in the day. I was able to play it with no problems this morning and this afternoon. but now it is not working. Yes I always run as administrator.
If you've got autopatching enabled (in Steam, for example), the current game version is 1.0.3, and the latest trainer available is for 1.0.2.
Not too many mini-patches for this one (not like TF2 or DotA2), and seeing the fixes, tweaks and additions they make... You don't really want to turn off auto-patching.

It's not that bad, Cal & Co works faster than game developers - quite a bit faster as well.

Sorry all, I tried to look at most of the replies here .. First and foremost - I AM A BIG FAN OF CHEAT HAPPENS - you all do great work.
I am curious if there is an updated trainer coming down the pipe? Just bought this through steam and I did not have an option to start this out at a lower version.
I have already turned off auto update. I typically wait till the trainers update to install to game.
