I agree, being able to level up capital ships at will would be great.
i am not sure what you are saying here, but likely the Carrier options and Level Up timer options work on the other ships too. Just don't use the Carrier options on the Titan and vice versa.
I noticed an interesting thing, when you use the "Tactical/Logistics Slots" option on your capital planet, all other players' capitals get the upgrade as well - giving them 1000 slots to play with on their capitals. Fought an AI with about 200 Media Hubs on his capital due to this. ^^
Update; yup, this option/these options is/are definitely bugged in some way - when tried (Logistics slots) on a specific asteroid, I later noticed another asteroid also having 1000 slots (without me even having knowledge of those asteroids at all at the point I activated the option).

What I mean is currently you can hit a button and give your ships 10 skill points, but your still limited by the capital ships/titan level. I was just saying it would be neat if you could hit a button and suddenly your capital ship or titan was level 10 or you hit it 9 times to level it up. Either way you can level up your cap/titan at will instead of it having to earn all the experience.
From what I saw using the level up timer your still limited to how many levels you can "buy" for your capital ship, TEC with that civilian skill only lets me buy to level 4. To get higher it still has to earn experience.
I would love to see that option added! It is absolute Hell trying to level Capital ships.
