I just was curious, How much the post count is important for you ?
Does a large post count show you a cool person ?

My wife says that my post count is a decent size... that is all that matters

Post count doesn't matter, the content does. If all a person does is post for the sake of posting and doesn't contribute anything meaningful, it doesn't make them particularly "cool".
Quality over quantity and all that.

People with a higher post count are generally more active/involved with the community. That's the only difference I can think of.

I think post count is equivalent to ***** size. Having a large count is nice, but if you're showing it off and boasting about it there's probably a fault somewhere.
