I'm a Bioware fan, but apparently there last 3 games in The Old Republic, Dragonage 2 and Mass Effect 3 have all been misses.
I know a guy who works as a moderator over at the Bioware forums and he says Bioware has to have one of the worst fanbases. They're like the Sonic fanbase in that they are so critical of EVERYTHING Bioware do.
I did not know that. Honestly TOR and DA 2 weren't so bad and the BioWare games I've played were pretty good.
ME 3 wasn't so bad, except for the ending, which I disliked.
The problem is that everyone seemed to have the opinion of "BioWare can do no wrong", but then finally they did something people didn't like and all of a sudden it's s***storm of the century.
I don't have enough time in the Universe to list all of the bad games and/or decisions developers have made since the dawn of gaming. There's no way in hell any Dev deserves this much hate and acid from their fan base.
Honestly... I know it's only a handful of people out of all of those who dislike the endings doing stuff like this, but it's seriously childish at best.
Complain about the endings, ask BioWare to fix them, explain them or re-write them, but to purposely (try to) destroy a companies reputation over a 10 minute segment of a game is screwed up. I don't care how much time people have invested into the ME series - I've put a good couple hundred hours in myself - at the end of the day they're only games.
The annoying thing is, as unlikely as it is, if EA were ever to decide BioWare wasn't worth the trouble and shut them down, these guys'd be the first ones to complain and say how great BioWare was and how they should have been kept.

I have to agree with Skyheart, it is just lunacy. Sure Bioware may or may not have made bad decisions about their games, people just unreasonably expect complete perfection.
I imagine that EA probably has an entire hand in Bioware's pie, so if anyone should suffer most of the blame for Bioware's past several games, it is most likely EA. They are probably trying to fix an already good system until it is broke.

Well the main problem with this is that Bioware hyped ME3 to hell. If you're going to shell out for the amount of advertising prior to game launch stating how it will be the next best thing, you have to ensure that the game lives up to the hype.
