The only thing I can think of is Will Smith, but I think I may be thinking a little too literally. The 2012 bit is because I Am Legend is set in 2012, an it's kind of an alternate Universe... kind of.

Uh... I guess I'll wager Ashton Kutcher? The Butterfly Effect ended in an alternate universe in 2012, he sang on That 70's Show a couple times, and he wrote for that show he did on MTV. Bit of a stretch, but he's technically the only one that fits the bill AFAIK.
