    so says you but not all spiders are tarantulas in size some spiders especially juveniles can be only the size of a grain of sand or even a few millimetres which even in a state of conscious would be close to impossible to detect and could be easily inhaled in your sleep

    Whilst the biting pressure in the jaws of a crocodile is insanely high (5000 pounds per square inch), the muscles that actually pull open its jaws are fairly weak. It is possible to just hold their jaws together.

    There are only two species of lizards with a venomous bite; the Beaded Lizard and the Gila Monster.

    The platypus has a spur on their ankle that is connected to a gland that produces poison. Echidnas have a spur and the gland but they're not connected.

    The bull shark is the only shark capable of swimming in fresh water.

    The cheetah cannot retract its claws.
