Indeed - if only you could incorporate an electrocute button which goes off everytime a developer goes to hit the "Build patch" button

Also, for those using steam - you can stop it auto-updating the game (which lessens the annoyance).

Right click game -> Properties -> Updates (tab) -> "Do not automatically install updates" from the drop down box.

That isn't a valid option really.

As long as your internet connection remains it will automatically revert back to "Keep the game updated".

If one truly wish to stop these updates, you'd have to disconnect your cable.

However you'd have to set up the trainer for offline use.

I've read you can block the ports steam uses to update the game.

Hoping this works as I'm getting sick of Steam!

LMAO Super full speed hard contact on face, FACEPALM lol that was too funny PWiz, i cry for u my amigo but i got a solution to the excessive updated games. Being that i play this game with a trainer a few others that get repeatedly updated. I postulate that after a certain threshold of updates for a specific game say 15 updates, users should pay a one time fee for anything beyond that or something of that train of thought. I know everyone will hate that but i have been a member for years and IMO i think its asking alot of the guys/girls at CH to update a games 30-plus times....

Although I agree that CHs hard work must be rewarded, raising prices or adding any additional fees will only give the Impatient customers who are always rude, complain, and demand more - a big sense of "entitlement". It will become an even bigger headache in the long run.

It makes me wonder if someone at Creative Assembly is a member of this site because a new patch conveniently seems to come out a few days or a week after the trainer is updated.
