If they reveal epic DLC on the 4th of April, I'll start believing in God.

I totally agree with what you posted, and the overall theme of this board. I am, however of mixed emotions. I am thrilled that they may attempt to fix the biggest letdown (IMO) I've experienced with a series I love, but I'm also royally ****ed that we, the fans will problably have to pay for it as yet another DLC. You should not have to pay for a proper ending. I am dumbfounded how 98% of the game can be epic, and the yet the last 10 minutes end like an obscure allegorical art film. Please. I dont't give a crap about their *artistic vision*. Finish the epic space opera, and give us, the fans, some frickin closure. Ideally on release bioware.

I think it's hilarious that they wanted to call it a "artistic view". It wasn't. It was to **** everyone off so that people would ignite and call down the hammer. If they wanted people to talk about it after the game was done, they did a spectacular job. Only thing was that it wasn't the kind that would be constructive and/or what they promised.

The "endings" of ME3 were a little lacking. Spectacular game, amazing series, then to just be left holding... not holding a the bag, just not holding anything except speculation.

I was waiting for this to be the end of the Shepard story, anticipated an ending were My sacrifice would bring closure to My story, and in the end give meaning to all the struggles and choices I've had for the last five years, five years of emotional attachment and deep involvement to a pixel character I've grown attached to.

In the LEAST amount of content I expected something like the summary texts as show at the end of "Dragon Age: Origins" to fill me in on what happens to the rest of the galaxy. I was left with Buzz Aldrin telling a bedtime story about Me to a little kid on a far off world. A little comforting, but not real closure. I can wait, and I can hope that BioWare pulls some magic out of their hat.

Honestly I don't think the statement says much, seems mostly like an attempt to calm down the fans and have them hanging on a dream. In ways they are trying to "wait it out" by dragging on a response until a month or 2 after release, where they feel most people will just move on and get over it.

The good part, Co-Owner of BioWare knows fans are ****ed.

Like I said its speculation about a modified ending. I feel they will go with closure on the other characters so we know what happens to them. But I still feel there will be no different ending than from what we have. As that would take more time than they have stated to provide a different ending. Also I do feel this DLC or whatever there doing should be free, but I feel this may not be the case. But then again only time will tell. If there will be a modified ending its going to be some time before we get it. I hope so it is top notch and not rushed.

So I have reserved my seat on the fence.

I Hope It's Free!!!

It would be like going to see Return of the Jedi and just before Vader takes off his mask, the credits roll... check back in a few months for the last 20 minutes folks! ( and pay another $5 to see the rest )

I hope the DLC "ending" will be worthy of BioWare's reputation. I never raged against the ME3 ending, although I have voiced my disappointment with lack of clarity and what all my choices for five years added up to... closure. I guess all I wanted was to know what happened to My Shepard's galaxy.

BioWare stated pretty plainly that this was the end of Shep's trilogy, but to leave the game hanging on that cliff without a POSITIVE PROMISE that more Mass Effect games will continue in the same line, be that after ME3 or within ME1-ME3. Speculation and conjecture about more ME games does not make me feel better. A notion of a MMO Mass Effect actually makes me a bit nauseous, we already have that game, it's called World of Star War Guild Rage Craft: the New Republic of Borderlands 2. We don't need one based on ME3, published by the same company (EA) who would be more than willing to drop funding in a year and put it all into another MADDEN or Snow Boarding game.

I want to know what happened after I did the long walk on the Citadel ( or after my hallucination/indoctrination if you follow that thought ), and I want to know why and how my previous choices played out, and... I don't want to pay for it. Simple.
