I want to try a heavy melee run through, but even with the various "boosts" to melee its likely going to be a near death sentence.

To make it even slightly possible, I want to boost Shep's shields and health up a bunch.

What is the best way (I assume through a coalesced.bin edit) to do this?

I'm thinking I should add a couple thousand to shields and health to even have a chance of trying this.

I don't want to do a god mode here. I just want to boost shields/health a bunch.

    Thanks,

Well you can set your armor to help with that. But I think what you want to do will be very hard without modifying the levels.

Can you explain that a bit more?

The armour pieces/sets you can buy and find will give you various bonuses in different areas. Some will give you health bonuses, some will give weapon or headshot bonus damage, etc. There's a set of armour which increases melee damage.

You could probably do with a mixture of health/shield and melee bonuses.

    EDIT: Found 'em for you.

Ariake Technologies armor increases your melee damage- you'll get almost a full bar with all four pieces.

Kassa Fabrication armor will give you a shield boost, along with shield regeneration.

N7 armor gives you a health boost.

Talk about hijacking a topic. Anyway, there's a whole thread dedicated to Coalesced editing. Ask in there if it hasn't already been posted.

My apologies, I must have forgotten to switch my translator from Swahili.
