The Microsoft live often updates game files as well it seems when it is updating live. I kept switching to newer version after live updates and the whole thing worked. However Live updated the game again and now version 1.2.01 retail is not working anymore. It think you will need to update the trainer. I have uploaded the newest exe file on the following links.
