I think most people are angry because they got the "bad' ending/s. Almost everyone or everyone dies. What do you expect? As a previous poster stated, they don't want to be reminded of "reality'. Ok,fine. That's YOUR choice.
So in "reality" you won't be playing Silent Hill or Heavy Rain,Hell,or even Deus Ex,right? Because they don't end on a happy note. And,don't watch Blood Diamond,Seven,or resiviour Dogs either because everyone gets shot or dies in those movies as well.
The MASS EFFECT Trilogy IS ENDING. That means NO MORE SHEPARD,NO MORE SQUAD MEMBERS.NO MORE MASS EFFECT. This is final. I don't think most people can take that.

SHEPARD'S story is ending. Never said the Mass Effect Universe is ending.
And,before anyone accuses me of siding with EA and defending their actions,i'm not. Iam not happy with EA,i don't like the fact you have to D/L Origin to play ME3 on PC(but, that is another topic altogether)
My point is this... Most players are going to rant and rave no matter what the ending is. If there are "bad endings" people are going to be angry and feel ripped off. If there were "happy endings" people would feel cheated and ripped off. If Bioware decided to continue the ME franchise people would rant and rave about how Bioware/EA are money hungry Monsters cashing in on their cash cows.
Bioware just can't win. I for one stand by Bioware.
My only problem is that its so VAGUE. You see 3 people you care about, one of them being joker. What happened to the rest?! What happened to Earth? What happened with the Relays? Its like breaking up over a text.
You need closure. They barely even mentioned Shep's mom. (Spacer background)
I mean, come one, sure you can make hard choices, sure shep can die. But the Vagueness of it all. That I can't deal with.
An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest. I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
All I'm peeved about is all my choices lead up to 1 final ending, which like everyone has said is a choice of what colour lights you really want and Joker on some distant planet.
Seriously what happened to the 16 different endings they promised.
But like someone said before, its time to get over it can't change what Bioware/EA did.
I was going to say "Hope they learn from their mistakes", but this is EA, they are bound to do it again..
Thankfully, as far as I can tell, there's no one demanding a new ending here. People demanding a new ending is laughable. The fact that they think just because they bought the game means they have a right to demand changes of someone else's story is a sign of just how far people have fallen in this day and age.
It's like if people hadn't liked the ending of The Lord of the Rings and started demanding Tolkien re-write it.

"Not right now. Trying to determine how Scale Itch got aboard. Sexually transmitted disease carried only by Varren..... Implications unpleasant." - Mordin, ME2
