what i do know is ,that if you dont do the multplayer you will gets the bad endings ,so doing the multiplayer will help towards getting you the good endings.
Cant believe theres 17+ endings,im going to be playing this for along time it seems ,i want to see them all and i want to see them by completing the game myself each ending.
Trust me, no such thing as a "good" ending.
You don't NEED to play MP, i got over 6K War assets and have not played MP. There's plenty of war assets if you do all the side missions, and explore. Once you pass 5000 assets the rest is just bonus, Doesn't change the endings.
The after-credits sequence comes after all three normal endings, but if you play with NG+ and work up to a 5000+ EMS, you’ll see one final extra bit after the conversation between the child and old man. It’s very short, but it DOES imply Shepard survives. Maybe it doesn’t fix the ending, but it’s something.
That must be the "One more story my sweet part". Meh I'd love it if they didn't do this to us. I mean do we really have to wait for another year to have our story continued? Or will they do the scumbag capitalist move and make a DLC and then charge us for it?
Either way they get more money out of us for something that should've concluded simply.
I mean was it really that hard to give Shepherd an ending where he lives and everyone lives happily ever after?
I mean can you even imagine all the grinding all the extra quests, right choices, goody two-shoes maneuvering all amounts to the death of a hero, near-destruction of several space civilizations, the plunge of galactic civilization into the deep deep Dark Ages of space faring technology?
And some people wonder how some ME fans feel betrayed about this.
You know I used to think that Warhammer 40k had a depressive story, but this just tops everything.
In my opinion BioWare should've just finished the story here completely in a way that would've been acceptable to people and not hinting of any further game installments. This is just sloppy planning right here.
Honestly I did not wanted for Shepherd to die, but I would've accepted that if I saw that his sacrifice actually resulted in something other than a vague ending about the destruction of Mass Relays and the fates of all the races.
So ok, I maybe a stupid moron that can't understand what the ending is all about, but the simple thing I want my out of my story is to be wrapped up nice and tightly with no "what ifs" or "could've beens" and no hints of future installments.
I do not believe IGN would lie.
IGN doesn't lie, they just don't tell you everything.
The extra bit of the ending after credits leave some opening to hint that some day when EA gives Bioware permission to make future sequels.
