In Mass Effect 1 i saved the Counsel and choose Anderson. In Mass Effect 2 i went to the citadel en spoke with counselor Anderson, Now i imported the save in Mass Effect 3 and there is an Admeral Anderson and a counselor Udina. How did that happen?????
Keeping in mind that I haven't played ME3 yet, judging by ME2 Anderson wasn't happy in his role as Councilor, so I imagine sooner or later he resigned, returning to the Alliance military.

most probably he resigned but I am sure that possible choises in the first 2 might change that, also maybe they explain it during the game (I haven't yet played it tonight it begins for me!!)

Yeah player choices from the earlier 2 may have an impact, but also it would fit the story of number 3 better for Udina to be the ambassador, simply because Anderson needed to defend earth
Well you will see why when you play the game. It will ruin everything if someone tells you. it's a MAJOR spoiler
He asked a specific question about a part of the game, not to be told it's a spoiler and he should go find out for himself.
It's fairly obvious that it's a spoiler to anyone with more than two brain cells, and if he asked anyway, he obviously doesn't care and just wants a straight answer to the question.
