Here are some spoilers and information from the art of the mass effect universe which contained info

well if we base this off of the last DLC in me2 then a gate going boom will take out a vast amount of solar system its in al all will nearly nuke the galaxy.

will plausable for an ending i much more suspect we kick reapers rear and keep the gates. if we do destroy gates though just remember they were the reapers invention and with all the races workignj as one (paragon) then its likely we would invent our own system for it.

or we could ust crack the transporter code and not need ships at all.

Not sure what happens when the gates go down, but the ending videos implied they are destoryed. No one gets to use them. All of the endings make sure that no reaper technology is useable, all AI is destroyed in two endings. The Geth and EDI also die. The other ending has AI and organics merging but the relays still destroyed. The epilogue shows a grandfather talking to his grandson about Shepard and also telling him that one day they will be able to go to the stars again. Of course we will have to wait until the game is released to see everythingSpoiler:

IDC if shepard dies, as sad as that might be, but to kill an entire galactic society and trade, government. That's extremely sad and would make it feel like the reapers still won.

Either way happens. Am sure humanity will struggle on as we always did. But oddly I love it how humans a picked on again tho.

I look at it this way, reaper tech allowed races to advance faster than normal. However, all the races past and present were never allowed to develop as far as they could. The reapers prevented this. Now the races will be able to develop on their own if you will with no threat of outside interference.

It will take time to rebuild since many planets have been pretty much destroyed and so many people have died.

Indeed. The Reapers are evil santas: 'Free tech for everyone!' (Most notably the Citadel, as you know)

The Protheans were converted to the collectors, humans into husks, etc. It seems that they want to wipe out all galactic civilization again but they always take samples.

Why not just wipe it all out and go back from whence they came?

I think we should all thank Drakonis on our bare knees for this thread... I don't know how, but somehow most of the spoilers more or less stayed to this topic.
