I do not know but I have a little feeling there's not going to be much to him. I don't know but I get a slightly annoying feeling.
As I've argued with far too many people getting upset over this, he's going to be no different than Zaeed or Kasumi.
They're great to have on the team, they have fun side missions and they're nice to see around the Normandy. Apart from that their dialogue sucks and you rarely - if ever - actually use them again outside of their own missions.
I'm hoping he has a decent dialogue tree, but I have the feeling other than that he's mostly going to be eye candy.

That's what I think also. I think he might have a bigger role in the extra DLC mission on Eden Prime I believe it is, but that is it.
