I started playing Syndicate and found that the controls and on screen information in the game defaults to a game controller and not the keyboard and mouse. I can't find anywhere in the options on how to change it to the keyboard and mouse. Does anyone have any information on how to fix this? Thnx

Disconnect the controller. Thats what fixed it for me.

He never said he had a controller hooked up.
I have the same issue and I don't have a controller hooked up and I've unplugged all my USB stuff

if i understand this correctly...then u're saying the keys in the game r not mappable. i have the Retail Disc...and i mapped my WASD keys with the 'Direction' keys without a problem. and my default controller is the Keyboard. i haven't encountered any problem whatsoever.

Sounds like the old..."try reloading the game into the computer" and see if that helps trick to me.....

Yeah... "Press "A" to start". Stuck after intro, it sure won't help pressing "a". Great job. And press "<" to read something, "x" for melee. Why did I pay for this, I hate this console crap.

Check if you really have no controller or joystick connected to your PC. I had the same problem until I unplugged my joystick.
