I like to know if the other missions that Shepard did will have effect. An example is the N7 missions to get rid of the gangs in the Terminus system.

I have no idea if this list is exhaustive in terms of confirmed choices carried over, but as far as I know there haven't actually been that many choices confirmed to be carried over to ME3.

The only one I know which isn't there is that all of your weapons will transfer over. Whether that's a direct transfer or just influences what weapons you'll get at the start I'm not sure of, but I know that whichever weapon you chose on the Collector Ship will carry over.

I think that anyone who died in the suicide mission will stay dead. So if that means if Garrus died on the collector base he stays dead in ME3. Which means I have to somehow get him killed just to see how it is when he is not around.

Or just download a savegame from here: Link

At least, that's what I'll do...

I think just about every single combination you can get is available. I did the same with ME1>ME2 and it worked splendidly. Saved me 700 playthroughs of ME1.

It will keep your charactor background, renagade or para status as usual. Weapons Weapons probably not. Who died in the other games and relationship status will probably be transfered over.

That's what i did too, and used a save editor to change the first name of that Shepard... just for the correct form

But mostly cause i don't own ME1... i should still buy it for a full and proper playthrough of the trilogy... -.- someday

I do believe that choices made in ME1 that did not have an impact on ME2 will have an impact on ME3, along with with both games having a greater impact on the overall game than ME1 did on ME2.
