i wish there would be a 3 hour ceremony on tv with alot of famous people there for actual heroes and people who died in service of their country (like our troops) rather than 'superstar' people who have ruined their lives with bad decisions. i have nothing against whitney herself, she WAS a fantastic singer. just that sometimes people really have a warped sense of what is important or who 'gave us' so much of themselves..

To be honest we should mourn the deaths of people who actually contribute to society in ways thats don't. People who are in Police, Fire & Ambulance, Doctors, Nurses, Inventors, people who have spent their life helping others etc. It seems these days no one cares about normal people. We even disrespect people who have no choice but to be Plumbers, Electricians, Contructions Workers and Garbage Collectors. Its just said, if it wasn't for these people, life as we know it could not be and 'talented' individuals like Actors and Musicians would have a much harder time and some would not exist.
