i got this bug as well :[
i think ill wait a month until i play it again unless a patch comes along that fixes it

hmm ill go and say that i noticed games of recent years have become alittle more hostile to trainers in general. perhaps the coding used these days is more unstable and prone to errors if subjected to a trainer or outside thing? it is a thought to be sure. generally, i tend only to use add money /health options .. maybe abilities.. but i like to level in the nomal pace tho . ach wel, havnt tried this gem yet but i will as soon as its downloaded from steam. happy hunting!

It's been shown that this glitch occurs without the trainer as well. Although, it is also worth noting that so far all of the complains I've seen regarding this error are using the steam version of the game.

Odd.

For me, I never used the unlimited items. I only used health,mana, fill fate, add experience, add skill points, 0 skill points and unlimited inventory space.

At the start of the game I pressed add xp add sp while playing (did not read the trainer notes from the beginning).

But as a feeling I suspect unlimited inventory space causes the problem.

At weekend I will try to retry from theatre of fate...

This bug isn't because of the trainer, their are hundreds of people right now that are getting this. It's not a trainer issue.

Ok guys I have same problems with the quests lines, but after I restart the game with no trainer on or cheats whatsoever and I can do all main quests now, disable all cheats and trainers, play the game with old fashion way, remember to delete all save games with the cheats and trainer before to have a fresh restart and u should be ok, trust me on this for some reason the trainer got a bug it will stop one of your main quest eventually, hope this will help. I pass The hunters hunted quest now working on Old Friends New Foes now good luck.

Did you get in to Ysa before getting this quest?
and do you have the 2nd main line quest or just the one?

if every thing went as planned and you didn't go to Ysa you should have 2 main line quests at this point .

I had this bug and was able to replicate it multiple times. It was caused by using the experience cheat in the trainer. When you first walk into the Inn to meet Agarth he is supposed to be overheard talking to another npc. For some reason if you have used the experience cheat this conversation never happens and the quest hook never registers.

My version/ Steam 1.0.0.2.

I decided not to use that particular option of the trainer and use the skill points and ability points cheats instead and just level the old fashioned way and was able to get passed that point all the way to the end of the game.

Other cheats used occasionally; Instant/No cooldowns, Infinite mana, refill fate meter.
