i tried new game, even tried reinstalling the game and new game, but nope, didnt work. doing the dlc quests and so while waiting

did you go straight to the Theater of Fate without going to Didenhil?

yup why not? it was way too easy so i hadto go there and after some hours i got thru, but it went good. iv got the dlc and done it and iv got over 80 hours of gameplay but i cant go any fourter now as mainquest bug because iv done 99% that i could do while waiting for patch... *cries* i got same as this guy youtu.be/J-NxTY5HlSA

Has anyone even identified the root of the bug? Whether or not we need to complete things in a certain order, or trainer options not to be used at certain times/places? (I doubt it's that, it seems to be reported far beyond CHU, and frankly if it were the Trainer, it'd have been fixed looooooong ago... )

Hi guys, have some info on the bugged main quests, I have a retail version of the game. The game it's self may be a little touchy for some main quests if you do thing before you should or out of a certain order, remember people on the ps3 and xbox have the same problem and not have a trainer. When i first got the game I played to like lv 11 and did the main quest line and only grabbed a few side quests here and there as i ran though places on way to my quest location got to the hunter hunted and all was fine, next i deleted (did not like him did to may things wrong and very little money lol ) remade profile and played to like 15 doing the same things all went fine, then got this cheat )> Made a new profile, used gold, skill points, ability points and used THE EXP CHEAT, went to lv 22, the hunters hunted quest is now..... BUGGED, remade profile used same cheats hunters hunted .... BUGGED. Now last night i tried this , loaded the save file that put me at the first town used gold, EXP, ability and skills then did nothing but the main quest took like 35 min got to that quest and BUGGED, loaded the first save tied again quest Bugged, then this morning I tried this and did this 3 time to make sure loaded save form first town ran gold, ability, skill, hp, mana and easy kills, did main quest line only, got to the hunters hunted and BINGO all is fine. I can say for sure that the EXP cheat is the reason the hunters hunted quest gets broken, well for those using the trainer that is. I also noticed this in game, if you go to the stats page you will see lifetime gold and lifetime exp, when you use the gold cheat the lifetime gold updates but when you use the exp cheat the lifetime exp does not update? could the exp cheat be only some what done? does a another commanded or hex need to be add to it? could that be why it breaking the quest?

I tried Grizzy's method (did not use the XP cheat), and it worked!! I think this might be the problem for The Hunters Hunted!

I also encountered that problem and I found a solution. You have to stick close to the main quest line, like for example if your quest is at Ettinmare you only quest either side or faction quest near that area. Don't go wondering around Sidhe, cause if you meet Nyralim before getting the "Hunters Hunted Quest" it will cause the bug. Your suppose to meet "Alyn Shir" at "House Of Ballad" if your map doesn't show "Her" being there after finishing "Dellach" then you might get bug quest.

Using PC version

Seems to me that I only use the add gold function from the trainer and stuck at the main quest. Even my friend who is playing on X box was unable to continue due to this bug.
