Found something on the net (save.noob.jp/save-editor/joyful.cgi?list=pickup&num=1105#1105). For this you have to copy the savegame to a FAT32 stick and then edit it with any hex editor.

    Noel
    342F1: CPMAX value
    342F5: equipment capacity
    342F9: HPMAX value
    34309: Attack power
    34315: Magic attack power

    Serah
    36C91: CPMAX value
    36C95: equipment capacity
    36C99: HPMAX value
    36CA9: Attack power
    36CB5: Magic attack power

The save still seems to be encrypted, so what happens when editing the save file (APP.DAT) is: you edit unknown values, i.e. what you write will change 'something' at the correct position.
Means: when you enter 'FF' (which is 255 in decimal) for all those values, you will not get 255 in your game, but some different values.

For example I set my equipment points to 'FF' in the hex editor and Serah's capacity was 180 and Noels 76.
Still for a fresh savegame thats pretty awesome.

If you find any more of these cheats, please post them here.

credits to the User BigEDole at the Gamefaqs Board

4A28E was right column first slot for items.
4A29F was left column second slot for items.
5532E was right column first slot for monster materials.
5533F was left column second slot for monster materials.

just change the value by 1 hex number cause your item amount will be multiplied by 1000 or so
    And then there were none

this works!! although the fat32 stick was not necessary. just copy file to your desktop then edit with hexeditor.

    keep up the good work.

    I have a question here:
if I edit my own save file from ps3 (like what u guys've been talking about here) then put it back, will it affect my trophy achievement?

I once used a save of RE5 (not mine!) and got my trophies deactivated!

Yeah, edited savegames have their throphys deactivated.
But you do not decrypt the FF13 saves at all.
You just write over two values without even touching the encryption.
So my GUESS would be that the PS3 won't be able to detect that the savegame was changed at all.

It's only my guess since I don't care for any trophies or archievements and thus don't take notice of any whne I get them.

hey! i'd appreciate it if someone gives more accurate and details offsets for the items (inventory). I tried these out and by some chance I got maximum gil for selling an item with no quantity at all!

Hey I've tweaked every thing i could so far, and I can still obtain trophies.
So thus being said, no this edit will not disable your trophies!
