i have a few trainers and most have worked in the past but now as i try to use some i keep getting the error ... Could not install the file - Installtion failed. And everything is spelled right from the trainer error cause i know Installtion is spelled installation.

Any help?

Make a folder, and add that folder to your Anti-Virus Exception list and put your trainers in that folder.

Weird that you are getting an "installation failed" message, nothing is installed via the trainer, unless your mean the trainer manager?

well i would do that but i dont even use an anti virus dont have one installed so i know its not that problem.

Is not a valid trainer message output... An trainer is not supposed to install anything at all, it hooks to your game and alters data.. Are you sure it is clean? This looks rather fishy to me..

And while you're on it, get a antivirus scanner.. Really, it helps sometimes.. I've learned from mistakes in the past.

well thank you lol i havent had a virus scanner in over 2 years i grabbed a free copy of avg that i keep just in case but i never install cause i never need it last time i used one 3 games no longer worked even after a fresh install but worked after i uninstalled the virus scanner. This all started after i upgraded my HDD to a larger one and installed windows 7 to it and all my trainers came from here so still not sure.

oh and the ones that say the error now used to work before and i did check they are up to date.

Browsing the net without an AV was asking for trouble.

So no idea what is up with your PC, its definitely not a trainer problem you have.

i have the same problem, all my old trainers work, its the new ones that get the same "Could not install the file " message.

Just joined, Downloaded batman Arkham Asylum ver.1.0 not 1.1 or goty the original says cannot execute, and two 1.1 ver. say activated then 3 secs later deactivated and then they do no work anymore after that. Any suggestions on getting the original version to work?
