Mine is Factual and my worst Nightmare was:
Having a brand new Kitchen fitted in my home,it took 4 and a half months to complete, problem after problem and lousy kitchen fitters.

This is a true account it was horrendous for me and my family eating food from the Microwave and that world champion boxers Grill,looking back this was last year, and we regret having this expensive kitchen fitted.

The Kitchen was installed by so called Professionals.

THIS IS A TRUE STORY.

I dream about this girl. She's not a 10 on shallow guy standards. But in ever way in which I can tell she is a 10 to me. Just perfect.. She has haunted my dreams for a long time now. Almost all of them.

Some of them it's pretty obvious and other times I see her face in a crowd, or a picture.

I always wake up when I'm about to figure out who she is, or she just melts away and my dream continues no matter how hard I try to bring her back or remember.

She looks so familiar but I don't know her. It's horrible.

Not sure if you mean nightmare as in a bad dream, or a nightmare situation in real life, so I'll pick the former.

My dad let me watch an episode of the X-Files when I was really young. It was one about a guy who comes out of hibernation every 50 or so years to feed upon the livers of his victims. Something like that anyway, the story isn't really that important. But this guy is my nightmare. I don't know why of all the scary things I've seen/watched/read in my life this one nightmare has plagued me, but I've never been able to shake it, even to this day.

What makes it worse is that I can never remember what the actual nightmare is, but I wake up and I know I've had that nightmare again; I just have that gut churning feeling of pure, cold fear, and the picture of just pitch black with only his eyes visible in my head (they're yellow and glow slightly in the dark).

Like I said, I don't know what's made that particular thing give me nightmares for all these years, but even at 25 I wake up scared witless every time, and I find myself looking over my shoulder in the dark going to the bathroom, or going down the stairs sideways so I can see in both directions. It's crazy I tell ya!

Look up Eugine Tombs/X-Files if you're curious. Maybe you'll understand if you see it.

And now I've brought it up and gone in to detail, I'm probably off to have it again. Typical.

Believe it or not, I haven't had a nightmare in just about 5-6 years now. As for real-life nightmares, well, nothing worth mentioning (yet). Guess I got lucky.

My worst nightmares generally involve me falling to my death. It is always so real that my back spasms and wakes me up when I hit ground in the dream.
Funny thing is, I love skydiving... perhaps I should heed my dreams?

That is the smartest thing I have ever heard anyone say about anything.

When I was a child I had this recurring nightmare. I can't really describe what it is about exactly, but it had something to do with amounts of something. If there was too much, it was bad and meant death for some reason. The weirdest part is that I still get the dream, but only right after I do an all nighter.

And it might sound funny, but I would buy a O-Z just to get you in my bedroom.

I guess those dreams where I'm completely helpless to do anything, even wake up, are the worst ones for me.

They range from falling through the air from a great height and waiting for what seems like ages for me to hit the ground, to the good ol' can't run and scream type of nightmares.

A very recent nightmare I've had has been quite troubling to me.

In various dreams, I see my oldest cat (Aged around 4 years or so), but whenever I get close to her, I see that she's covered in open wounds that are seething and dripping with insect larvae and worm-like creatures. She looks into my eyes with these glowing emerald eyes of hers, then fades into smoke.

Then I usually either wake up slowly, or get jarred awake by a sharp, stabbing pain where I see a spike jammed into my torso (And this pain is completely non-existent when I'm fully awake, but as I transition from sleep to the groggy half-awakened state I usually get into, the pain fades slowly as the grogginess does).

This coincides with my cat getting much more affectionate (Her usually wanting to literally snuggle my belly and purr all night while I try to sleep), and thus it's even more disconcerting seeing her like that in my dreams, to then wake up to a purr against my belly that is unmistakably hers and remember how scary it was to see her in these dreams.

It's less scary in an "Omigosh I'm gonna die" or "BOO!" kinda way, and more a subtle and surreal fear of losing her these dreams bring out. She's one of my favorite cats in an awful long time, and I've lost so many cats to illnesses and whatnot when they're not all that old (Most I've lost before they turned 10), that these dreams make me worry about her, and want to drop everything to give her affection just in case there's something to these fears of mine.
