so true but age can play a big part if your both over 20 then i would be worried but if not then its probably just a kiddy crush

Psych 101 answer: You're projecting your dirty thoughts of your own mother onto her, creating the obsession with the celebrity. But she doesn't actually have an obsession because she's a figment of your imagination due to the trauma of the real her dying horribly in an accident in your dreams after you saw her one day but never spoke to her in real life.

Sorry, I can't help but make incredibly contrived Freudian logic bomb jokes when discussing relationships.

Shotgunmaniac™ answer: If you're actually stressed/worried about it, regardless of what "it" is, then it's worthy of being stressed/worried about - even if it's just over the fact. Generally the only two ways to deal with it are to never bring it up to her and get broody about it, or simply be forward and candid with voicing your concerns to her in a caring-but-not-angry way. The former will only ever result in a relationship time bomb of either the argument or wholly ending type.

Even if she brushes it off as nothing when you express your concerns, unless she doesn't exactly reciprocate your "love" at all, she will definitely watch herself with it in the future regardless, so it at least would not go unchecked at the (nearly) bare minimum.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's what we girls do. I have a celebrity crush on Channing Tatum but that doesn't mean that I'll love my significant other any less.

If it really bothers you that much, tell her it makes you uncomfortable. If she loves you, she'll understand.

Lots of people have celebrity crushes, and lots of people have Celebrity Crushes. It's quite normal (unless she's like full on worshipping and stuff, then you could get a bit worried), and your reaction is also normal

Just, I would ask you to try not worry about it. You're not a compromise, you're the real deal. And her crush would probably pass in time. If you're really, really worried about it, talk to her about it, but delicately.

Good luck, and I wish you both the best of luck!

All and i mean all Celebs are a pain in the butt, when they first start out they will do anything for you they talk and sign autographs, when they become Famous its get lost we need our privacy etc, like i said they are a pain in the Butt in my opinion, the fans pay $$$$$$$$ and lots of it, and then they get tossed aside, without fans Celebs are nothing,by that time the celebs do not care because the money is in the Bank and they are laughing.

So sorry folks for being so cinical about these people thats how i see them.

All depends on who the celebrity is, really.

If my girlfriend (lets just say for the sake of this conversation that I have a girlfriend) had a crush/fell in love with Jeffrey Donovan the guy who plays Michael Westen on Burn Notice, I would probably be ok with it.
