Warhammer 40k: Space Marine Message Board  

i looked online to fix these damn crashes but no help at all disable everything you could think about to make this game work. my hardware is decent 6870's, ch iv, 750w power supply, 16gb of ram, windows 7 64. can somebody tell me why i can play skryim and bf3 with no prob but this damn game i cant b/c of these crashes just playing then BAM! some bugsplat screen comes up.

I'm having the same problem here, too. Don't know why...

In the main trainer readme, PWizard explains that this game has a lot of protections against cheating. This is what he says:

"Please note that this game is one of the most ridiculously protected games we have ever come across for a SINGLE PLAYER game. The developers went out of their way to make it nearly impossible for trainer makers and modders to modify the game to their liking. At any rate, this game CAN and WILL detect the trainer and CRASH itself if you leave option 1 on ALL THE TIME. Turn it on ONLY when you need help against the orcs and then immediately turn it off. If you find that the game crashes repeatably in a spot while the option is ON, you need to
CONTINUE the game from main menu with the option OFF when you reach that spot to prevent this from happening. This is the best we could do and likely there is NO OTHER trainers that are working for the LEGIT STEAM version of this game."

From my own experience, the mega ammo cheat works fine and without issue. The health option, however, that will cause a crash. I found the best way to use it is to turn it on, get hit so your health and armor will refill, then quickly turn it off.
