The Latest trainer (1.43.4) resets my lvl, stats and kills me when i press f1 to activate it. Seems weird to be honest, so i wanted so at least let you know.

try activating the trainer at main menu like the instructions in the trainer clearly say

BEFORE you try to load a game..

this is because the 'developers' spent the last 2 days incorporating their 'anti cheat' measures on SINGLE PLAYER GAME low budget dink game unepic? why? I guess so I would have to spend 5 more minutes to defeat it..

at any rate, if you activate the trainer at the main menu before you load any games, you won't have any problems.

    best,
    Cal

Caliber, thanks as always for doing a great job with games like this. I know it must be frustrating having to fix little BS stuff like this. Honestly, this is a single player game, and an indie title to boot, they should be allocating their time to making their next title or adding content - but no, gotta put in some dumb anti-cheat measures for absolutely no reason.

Thank you for your diligence and patience, because despite these flaws the game is fun and cheating at my leisure makes it more fun for me. Thank you for making it possible for me to do what I could not do on my own. And sorry that sometimes people on the forums don't appreciate the work you do, it is clearly a really involved thing and I can't imagine it's super satisfying to log in and see "oh, great, they did a piddly update and added a useless anti-cheat measure that I have to spend a few minutes bypassing."

Thanks CheatHappens, thanks Caliber, you're all ace.

Edit: Have y'all considered shelving this trainer until it gets out of early access beta? It's more resource drain on you guys than it's worth right now, and I don't think anyone in the CH community would think poorly of you for simply waiting until the developers finish the game to start supporting it with trainers. I am worried the alternative is going to be that it ends up retired before the game is even finished, because the Early Access Beta thing means it will get tons of little patches between now and full release... Just a thought, but I would not hold it against you at all to suspend support until it is well and truly released.

I DONT UNDERSTAND why it is in 'beta' at all. this game has been out for over a year or more..

if the game is updating all the time then we will shelve it, yeah-

The deal is it was in alpha for awhile, back as far as the Indie Gala July bundle. That's where I first ran into it. For a game in that alpha state, it was pretty feature complete, but that's indie dev versioning for you.

NOW, it's in Steam "Early Access Beta." You buy it, you get to play it and contribute to the finishing touches, whatever those shall be. Steam's rapid patching Beta process has killed some pretty fine trainers before - Defense Grid comes to mind, when they were doing their Kickstarter for DG:Containment and DG:2, they had a ton of updates that ended up frustrating you guys into retiring the game. Now it's pretty much finished and if it gets a patch it's maybe once every few months, if that, but the effort of keeping up with it when it was in a period of rapid change ended up taking it off the table.

So, that's my worry with this game. It is, for better or for worse and for reasons I also have trouble understanding, still in a prolonged Beta. This game is gonna get patched a lot between now and full release. And it's coming out on other platforms too, GOG... Basically, my suggestion, if it were to be taken into account, would be to wait until the dev takes the game out of beta and stops with these rapid-response patches for minor issues, and then make trainers again. It shouldn't be regularly patched after that point, but until it gets there, it's gonna be a PITA for you to keep up with it and that is a trainer upkeep killer.

Take it as you will, just my thoughts. Thanks again for your diligent work. Recently I'm loving your FC3 trainer, by the way, really nice work man

No, no! Stop making trainer for this game!!!
Make them after 2-3 weeks, so that all those crappy patch can be overcome with fewer trainers. I want to get the final version of the trainer, IF the final version ever come out on steam. So no need to rush. Keep the delay longer. 💛

the game is almost 2 years old.. they don't intend to finish it..

enticing people to 'get to play the beta before final' on a game that they sold 2 years ago and people have been playing for almost 2 years is, to me, shady advertising.

plus they can't seem to fix glaring errors..

    best,
    Cal
