Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Message Board  

In African mission (Back to the Grid), when I'm supposed to use mortar there's no way to use it; I press F, nothing. I remap and press the "Use" remapped key, nothing.

I tried also to use mortar with no trainer activated; useless to say, nothing.

Someone else got this problem (and solved it)?

Auto replying, for those who have same problem:

restart mission. It could be done more than once (I succeed after 3 restarts).

I found a similar problem in Paris mission: javelin didn't lock the target.I was lucky in that mission: just one restart worked out.

I have never noticed such a problem no matter with or without the trainer. Just take the mortar and send them a "present". No problem at all.

I knew how fix it, I had the same problem

In main of "Call of Duty- Modern Warfare 3\players2" inside the folder players2 : delete all folder not file keep the regular file only folder delete it except (autosave)

and any file inside players2 & autosave name it hijack file somthing like that delete this file

run the game without trainer you see can't play resume but can play "Mission select" inside the mission select (ACI) and Back on the Grid

when you play be careful when say partner stay do as he want . when you reach the Mortar you see In screen Prees and Hold "L"

Solution: There is no need to restart mission. Just load the last checkpoint with the trainer on, it will work fine.
