Well few weeks ago I was thinking of the time when I borrowed FF X from a friend, I played it for a few hours and saw it's not like FF XII then decided it's boring and not what I expected and returned it back.
Last year I saw few reviews of the game and many said it's only of greatest PS2 games of all time, so at that point I wanted to play it again, but I only discovered that my ps2 doesn't work anymore.

Today I noticed it's going to be re-released on the PS3 on 2012, which made my day that I'm getting a chance to play that game.
    Anyone else excited?

Anyone who is a long term fan of the series will agree and I'm talking at least started playing at number 7, that regardless of how how enjoyable Final Fantasy 12 was to play, it in no way deserved to be called a Final Fantasy game besides the fact it had someone named Cid in it(Insider joke). Just had to get that off my chest.

Personally my love for FF10 comes from the artistic creation in terms of how they told the story in the game, greatest story told in Video Game form in my opinion, and anyone who played the pre-PS2 era of Final Fantasy appreciates the improves made when it hit PS2. I'm happy its getting a makeover, but what I'm waiting for is for them to fricking remake FF7.

I heard many reviews from people saying how much they hated FF XII because it's not like what they're used to, but for me since it was my first FF XII, and it's for me favorite game of all time, I just found it as the perfect game for me.
And one of the reasons I had a really bad impression on FF X that I said "OMG IT'S NOT LIKE FF XII, IT SUCKS".
    I wish they'd do a remake of it on PS3. =/

And btw I remember seeing on the PSN FF VII, and I double checked on wiki:Link.
It is mentioned there that it's available on PSN.

FFX is one of the three games I've played that I would give a perfect score to. (Although Skyward Sword has a chance of joining that group, but I haven't finished that game yet)

FFX's battle system is a typical turn based RPG with no real sense of urgency, so I can see how you might think it's boring, but give it a shot, the story really holds the game together well imo.

I think FFXII got such a bad rep was because it was the first game to try something different, i.e. real time combat rather than using the ATB like everyone was used to. Personally I think Final Fantasy is all about the stories they tell, rather than using a specific gameplay mechanic.

FFX is still one of my favourites of the series, along with VIII and IX. I'm looking forward to it being re-released... I'll finally get some use out of my PS3. I wonder if it'll have any upgrades, or if it's just a direct port...

Yeah the reason I preferred FF XII over the other FF games was the real time combat system, I thought that it was more intense and gives the player more control over battles.

And something else bothered me about FF X was the idea that monsters appeared randomly, just like I'm in pokemon or something which was kinda annoying, while in FF XII most of the time I could chose whether I wanted to fight or flee before any contact with the foe would happen.

I wish they would re-release FF XII, I've played the game 3 times each with about 100 hours of gameplay, and I'd love to play it again.

Blitzball makes FFX. Love that game <3.
I didn't like how linear it was. It was pretty much walking in a straight line. I mean, JRPGs are usually incredibly linear, but FFX took the cake.

I think that technically, FF13 is the sole owner and CEO of that cake... FF13 made FFX look like a sprawling sandbox game by comparison (which is part of the reason why I didn't like 13... )
